Welcome

Dr Odendaal qualified as a Fellow of the College of Surgeons at the University of Stellenbosch in 2003 and spent a further 5 years gaining valuable hands on experience in various fields of surgery and completed a Fellowship in Upper Gastro Intestinal Surgery at Guys St Thomas Hospital in central London.

In 2007, Dr Odendaal opened his own private practice as Netcare Blaauwberg Hospital where he consults and operates in the state of the art modern theatre complex. While being multi-skilled in all areas of general surgery, Dr Odendaal’s passion lies in oncology and laparoscopic surgery and the screening and detection of cancer in the gastro-intestinal system.
